Looking for Models pref based in Scotland for Art Nude Shoots

To hell with the bank balance I decided last month and decided to treat myself to a new camera - as used with my recient shoot with Mary Louise - [link] - a fantastic model to work with, and would heartily recomend booking a shoot with her.

To top the new camera, those nice folkes at Olympus Europe sent me a nice present for buying the E3 - a snazzy ringflash, not sure how much I'll use it but tis a new shiny piece of kit :)

All images unless otherwise stated are my COPYRIGHT please do not abuse it, and I will not abuse your kneecaps :D

Ringflashes give really distinctive look - it can be a little cliched but I'd still love to play around with one. :)

And who'd have thought cheapest place was Jessops of all places. As for the ringflash - nice toy but no way would I pay the ludicrous guide price for it.

Touch pricey, but relativly easy to ebay on

a converter for normal flasguns
:icontimhaylock:
Yep, I've seen those, but I don't have a "normal" on camera flash (I've got a very old mid eighties manual flashgun which I occasionally use off camera, but that's it) - so I'd need to budget for something like a 580EX as well, making this a rather expensive proposition. :)

There are a few studios in London that have ringflashes, I'll just have to hire one of them and try it there.

I have a macro ringflash I've used a few times, not much punch though and the big buggers are way overpriced.

I gave jessops a try when I got my 520, wouldn't budge on price.

How are you liking the big bugger?

It feels like right, nice balance to it. Already bought the battery pack, now saving for another lens. . .
